> Hartside > North Wales

North Wales is infamous for it's superb roads for Motorcyclists. Unfortunately also it has become famous for a high police presence and campaign targeting motorcycles - This has been due to the increasing number of RTA's involving motorcycles of recent years. That said, if your bike is legal and you are not riding in a manner which is inviting you to be pulled over, you will find some fantastic places to tour in North Wales.

North Wales's only race circuit is situated in Anglesey, click here for further information on Anglesey Racing Circuit. Where you will be able to sign up on a track day if the roads are not enough for you! Anglesey boasts 24 award winning beaches, so if you fancy a dip in the Irish sea you have plenty of choice! It is also famous for the village of Llanfairpwlgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilliogogogoch.

The Snowdonia Mountains and coastal towns offer superb views. Snowdonia National Park is the second largest national park in England and Wales. Unfortunately you wont be able to take your bike up to the top, but you can take a day to be carried by Steam train.

Take a tour via the walled towns of Caernarfon and Conwy. In Snowdonia alone, you have thirty miles of coastline to tour.

If you are after pretty villages and towns with historical interest, be sure to visit Betws-y-Coed, Ruthin, Denbigh and Beaumaris in Anglesey.

If you need a day off from the riding, there are plenty of things to do and see depending on your base. Below we have listed a few entertainment and leisure ideas for those non-biking days!
