Hartside Cafe. It is a popular stopping point for touring bikers who are brave enough to tackle the cobbled main street!

there are plenty of places to stop for a cup of char before continuing your journey. If you're stopping for longer there are plenty of antique shops and galleries.
Also there is a petrol station in Alston, for those
of you who are visiting the Cafe, at
Hartside.
